Helpin' The Charities.

After watching Australia's boring 0-0 draw with Qatar I hit the hay at 2.00am. Three and a half hours later I'm back up, on my way to help the community to do this stupid 20 hours. Some charity thing where people run up stairs, sounded thrilling. FREEZING COLD! Unbelievably cold. Non the less I get in the car to pick up my trusty side kick Degano (or as the event organiser called him De-gay-no.)

That's what people were running up!

In all honesty it wasn't that bad. At the start Andrew and I were split up which was kind of lame, I asked if I could swap jobs and she said "No, your job is vital." So I was expecting a busy job with loads of work. My instructions were to make sure people find the stairs. Now my, my this was difficult, there were barriers leading from the start to the stairs so clearly it was a struggle for me. After five minutes of watching the barrier do my job flawlessly I went and chilled with Andrew who had to give out envelopes with t-shirts in them to competitors.

Here's the fun part; a lady asked us to take a photo of her group. The girl next to me had a mitten on and I had the other one on so we forced Andrew to do it.
"Nah, I'll stuff it up," Andrew whines.
"Just do it,"

So the lady passes Andrew the camera only to see it fall through Andrews hands onto the table followed by a facepalming and laughing from the girl next to me and me. Eventually Andrew manages to take the photo and once the ladies are out of ear shot begins his defense.
"My hands were cold and the lady dropped it, without me being ready. I don't have ninja reflexes."

The rest of my day involved waiting around for my sisters 'gig' to start. Basically it was a truck with a stage on the back parked in front of sound centre and my sister was playing guitar and singing =/. After an hour of waiting for it to start I got bored and walked home.
Then I went coach potato and watched world cup qualifiers. To top off this highly entertaining, adrenaline filled day, Formula One starts in half an hour.
